1.4 Returns and Cancellation Policy
(Read with our Terms and Conditions)
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), you, as the consumer, are entitled to cancel your purchase without reason and without penalty within seven (7) calendar days from receipt of the goods and obtain a full refund, provided the goods are still in an original, unopened, and unused condition that can be resold (less courier fees, where applicable).
- If you cancel within the 7-day cooling-off period, the goods must be returned to us. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
- If you have a successful warranty claim, and the product is repaired or replaced, KREW SAFETY will return the product to you at our expense (assuming original delivery).
- If your warranty claim is unsuccessful (e.g., the product is not defective or faulty), you will be liable for all courier fees, including collection, return, and any other associated costs.
Please note: The following issues do not constitute a defective or faulty product and will not entitle you to repair, replacement, credit, or refund:
- Faults resulting from normal wear and tear
- Physical damage to the product
- Use of the product for purposes other than its intended purpose or environment
1.5 Incorrect / Damaged / Return Policy
- If you receive incorrect products, notify us within two (2) working days of receipt so we can rectify the mistake.
- Incorrect products must be unopened, in original condition, in good working order, and with no missing items.
- We will exchange, replace, or provide a full refund for incorrectly supplied goods.
- For all other returns (except “Incorrect / Damaged Returns”), products must be sent back at your own expense.
- Original courier fees are non-refundable.
- Products not in their original condition cannot be returned for replacement, exchange, or refund.
1.6 Return Instructions
- All products returned to KREW SAFETY should be carefully packed with protective materials where necessary.
- Clearly mark the package with the order number and return address.
- KREW SAFETY is not liable for damages or losses during transit; we recommend courier insurance for returns.
- Products must be in their original condition, packaging, and complete with no missing items.
- Refunds for cancellations during the cooling-off period will be processed within 30 days of the date of cancellation.
Exceptions:
- Section 42(2) of the ECT Act excludes certain electronic transactions from the cooling-off period.
Return Guidelines for Cooling-Off and Non-Defective Products:
- Products must be returned within seven (7) calendar days of receipt in original packaging.
- The cost of return is at your expense.
- Damaged or missing products in transit will not be refunded or credited.
- For opened/unsealed products, a handling fee of up to 25% may apply.
- Products must be in resalable condition. Missing items are not refundable.
Warranty:
- All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, usually one (1) year from the invoice date unless specified.
- For defective or faulty products, email KREW SAFETY to arrange a return at our expense.
If the product is confirmed defective, you may choose to:
- Have the product repaired
- Have the product replaced
- Receive a full refund minus delivery costs (if any)
